Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Service (including the Mr. Lambert AI counselor), you agree to these terms.
What the Service is
Lambert's Grove is a private tool for high-school students and their parents / counselor (if they have one) to research colleges, build application shortlists, and have AI-assisted counselor conversations about the college-application process. The Mr. Lambert AI counselor is a Large Language Model (Claude by Anthropic) with a custom persona; it is not a licensed counselor and should not be substituted for human guidance on consequential decisions.
Acceptable use
Use the Service only for college-application research and planning. Do not attempt to use Mr. Lambert for unrelated purposes (homework help in other subjects, generating essays you would submit as your own, etc.). Mr. Lambert will decline off-topic requests; respect that boundary.
Payment and refunds
The season pass is a one-time payment covering one student for the period stated at purchase. It is refundable in full within 7 days of purchase, provided no essay feedback has been generated on the account. After essay feedback has been generated, or after 7 days, the pass is non-refundable — the coaching has been delivered and cannot be returned. Requests go to hello@lambertsgrove.com. We may make exceptions at our discretion where the Service has failed to work as described. Refunding a pass ends access to the Application Workshop; essay drafts can be exported from the workshop at any time, and we recommend keeping your own copy.
AI limitations
Mr. Lambert may occasionally state inaccurate facts about colleges (e.g., misattributing varsity sports or specific programs). The Service includes a fact-checking pass on long writeups. Verify any specific factual claim (varsity sports, named scholarships, specific programs, faculty) against the college's own website before relying on it.
No warranty
The Service is provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind. Your college-application decisions are your own; we are not responsible for outcomes based on information the Service provides.
