Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Account info: name, email, and login credentials.
- College-application context you choose to enter or upload: questionnaire responses, transcripts, high-school profiles, pinned colleges, dismissed colleges with reasons, preferences (size, travel scope, etc.), test scores, and the conversation history you have with the Mr. Lambert AI counselor.
- Usage records: which pages and sections of the Service you open, how long they stay open while you are active, and which features you use, to keep the Service running and to improve it. They never include essay text or your answers.
How we use it
Your information is used solely to operate the Lambert's Grove service: generating personalized college-fit rankings, AI counselor responses, and counselor / parent dashboards. We do not use your account information for advertising, behavioral profiling outside the service, or any purpose unrelated to college planning. See Advertising on our public pages below for the one thing that does involve an advertiser, and what it is limited to.
We keep an anonymous copy of each finished questionnaire: its multiple-choice answers, grades and test scores, and the colleges it named, with no name, email, high school or anything typed in. It is used only to test and improve our matching and cannot be linked back to anyone. A questionnaire nobody saves is deleted after 14 days; the anonymous copy is all that stays.
We also keep an anonymous copy of questions asked about a college (not the answers), with names and contact details removed, to learn what families most want to know about each school.
How we share it
We do not sell, rent, or lease personal information to anyone. We do not share your account information, meaning your questionnaire answers, grades, test scores, school list, essays, or counselor conversations, with advertisers, marketers, or affiliates. Your information is shared only with our AI counselor provider (Anthropic) for the sole purpose of generating the responses you have requested.
Mr. Lambert runs on Anthropic’s commercial API for businesses. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, nothing a student or parent sends through it is used to train Anthropic’s models.
Advertising on our public pages
Our public pages do not currently carry any advertising cookie, and we do not report conversions to any advertising company.
We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, these pages load no advertising cookie at all and no conversion is reported for you.
Data storage
All data is stored on private servers operated by the service administrator. Access is restricted to authenticated users (you, your parent, your counselor, if you authorize one) and the service administrator.
Children's privacy
The Service is intended for high-school-aged students (typically 14-18). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, please email privacy@lambertsgrove.com so we can delete it.
Your rights
You may request to view, update, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing privacy@lambertsgrove.com.
